At Prodacapo we protect your personal integrity and always strive for a high level of data protection. This privacy policy explains how we collect and use your personal information to offer the best possible customer service. It also describes what rights you have and how you can use them.

By using our services, you are agreeing to be bound by this policy. We will always comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when dealing with your personal data.

What is personal data and what is processing of personal data?

Personal data are all kinds of information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a now living person. For example, images and sound recordings that are processed on a computer can be personal data even if no names are mentioned. Encrypted data and various types of electronic identities (such as IP numbers) are personal data if they can be linked to a specific person. Processing of personal data is everything that happens with personal data. Any action taken with personal data is considered processing of data, regardless of whether it is performed automatically or not. Examples of common processing are collection, registration, organization, structuring, storage, processing, transfer and deletion.

Who is responsible for the personal data we process?

The personal data controller is the person who determines why and how personal data are to be processed. FCG Prodacapo Group Ltd, FCG Prodacapo Finland Oy, FCG Prodacapo Sweden AB, FCG Prodacapo Syd AB, FCG Prodacapo A/S and FCG Prodacapo UK Ltd, (collectively referred to as Prodacapo), are data controller for the processing of personal data in each company.

How is personal data collected and how is it being processed?

Prodacapo collects personal information that you provide to us when you become a customer, contact us by email, sign up for our newsletter, apply for a job, or otherwise use our services. Prodacapo processes the Personal Data provided to us or collected by us. For example, it may be the name, work title, e-mail address, phone number, address details, and information provided in the use of Prodacapo services (eg via cookies, see paragraph below).

What purpose does Prodacapo have with personal data processing?

Your personal data may be processed by Prodacapo for the following purposes:

  • fulfill our commitments to you regarding the purchase and delivery of our products and services,
  • manage and administer support and consultation matters,
  • to contact you,
  • as a basis for billing and accounting,
  • manage job applications,
  • marketing & communication purposes (incl. product information, company news, event information),
  • send customer surveys with the purpose of measuring and improving our customer communications,
  • for statistical and analytical purposes.

Who has access to your personal information?

Your personal information is processed by Prodacapo staff for the purposes stated above. Otherwise, we will not disclose personal data to other companies or authorities unless required for the necessary handling for compliance with Prodacapo's legal obligations, regulation or authority decisions or to protect our rights or third party rights. We never forward, sell or exchange your Personal Data for marketing purposes to third parties outside of Prodacapo Group.

Do we transfer personal data to third countries?

Prodacapo does not transfer your Personal Data to non-EU / EEA countries unless specifically stated at the moment you provide personal information to us.

How long does Prodacapo process your Personal Information?

Personal data will not be stored for a longer period than is necessary for the purposes for which Personal Data is processed. Prodacapo handles your Personal Data in accordance with the Provisions for Prodacapo, which contains information about deletion time for data containing your Personal Data. Personal data, for example, processed for accounting purposes, are stored the number of years which follows from the legal obligation under the country specific bookkeeping regulations.

What are your rights as registered?

You are entitled at any time to request information about which Personal Data we process regarding you. If your personal data information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you may want to have it corrected. You are entitled to request that our processing of your Personal Information are to be restricted. You are entitled to request that we delete your Personal Information. We may be entitled to deny your request if there are legal obligations that prevent us from immediately deleting certain Personal Information. These obligations derive from accounting and tax legislation. The same applies if treatment is necessary for us to establish, enforce or defend legal claims. Should we be prevented from meeting a request for deletion, we will instead block Personal Data from being used for purposes other than the purpose that prevents the requested deletion. You are always entitled to object to certain types of treatment, such as direct marketing and to object to all processing of Personal Data based on balance of interest. In case you have consented to certain treatment, you are always entitled to withdraw your consent at any time. If you revoke your consent, processing based on your consent will expire, unless Prodacapo assesses that there is another legal basis for the treatment.

Prodacapo is constantly working to take all appropriate technical and organizational measures that are required in each case to protect your Personal Data and, in addition, ensure that processing is in accordance with applicable applicable data protection legislation.

What type of cookies do we use?
